Updated: Mar 18

The Mayor's Office of Wilmington, Delaware and Stephen Marley's family are honoring this Wednesday, March 20th at One Love Park. In the realm of music royalty, the legacy of Bob and Rita Marley lives on through their second son, Stephen Marley. This talented artist has not only carved out his own path in the music industry but has also solidified his place in history, clinching an impressive eight Grammy Awards. Among these accolades, Stephen Marley boasts three wins as a solo artist, two as a producer for his younger brother Damian Marley's acclaimed albums, "Halfway Tree" and "Welcome to Jamrock," and an additional three wins as part of his older brother Ziggy Marley's band, Ziggy Marley & The Melody Makers. The Marley lineage continues to shine brightly in the world of music, carrying forward the spirit of their iconic father.

Stephen's influence is still felt strong here in Delaware. Last year Reggae in the Park featured Stephen’s good friend, Grammy Nominated Wayne Wonder and drew over 20,000 people from all corners of the state to Glasgow Park.
